Digpatia Ghat

Digpatia Ghat is one of the many ghats (a series of steps leading down to a body of water) located along the Ganges river in Varanasi, India. It is situated towards the southern end of the city's riverfront, near the Harishchandra Ghat.

Like many other ghats in Varanasi, Digpatia Ghat is a place of religious significance and attracts many pilgrims and visitors. It is considered auspicious to take a dip in the Ganges at this ghat, particularly during certain religious festivals such as Magh Mela and Kartik Purnima.

The ghat is also home to a number of temples and shrines, including the Kashi Vishwanath Temple, which is one of the most important Hindu temples in India. The temple is dedicated to Lord Shiva and is believed to have been built over the site of an ancient Jyotirlinga
