Varahi Mata Temple
Sri Varahi Devi Temple is located on Dashashwamedh Ghat Rd, near Man-Mandir Ghat, Dashaswmedh Ghat, Lahori Tola, Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh. The temple is open for Worship from 5.30 am to 7.30 am only and remains closed for the entire day. The Goddess was born in Kashi due to the fall of shakti's peeth, her desire is fulfilled by having a vision on this day of Navratri.
The sanctuary of Varahi has a little place of worship with the goddess Varahi decorated in dazzling red. As per legacy says, Varahi was one of the 64 pioneers who were sent by Lord Shiva on an otherworldly mission, yet captivated by the appeal of Varanasi, chose to remain here. The admirers of this sanctuary are prevalently ladies. The sanctuary changes with dynamic tones and another look during the nine-day Navarathri celebration.
