Pandey Ghat
Pandey Ghat is one of the many ghats (a series of steps leading down to a body of water) situated along the banks of the Ganges river in the city of Varanasi, India. It is named after a Brahmin family known as the Pandey family, who are the traditional caretakers of the ghat.
Pandey Ghat is one of the less crowded ghats in Varanasi and is known for its peaceful atmosphere. The ghat has a small temple dedicated to Lord Shiva, and it is believed that taking a dip in the holy waters of the Ganges here can cure various ailments.
Pandey Ghat is also a popular spot for boat rides on the Ganges, where visitors can take in the stunning views of the ghats along the river and witness the various religious ceremonies that take place on the banks of the river.
